Creative Financial Staffing, LLC in Hudson, OH is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead the accounting function, oversee the month-end close, and ensure the integrity of financial information.

You will supervise AP, AR, payroll and fixed assets, partner with leadership on planning, and mentor the accounting staff to drive process improvements and strong internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with leadership or supervisory responsibilities.
• Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, month-end close procedures, reconciliations, and general ledger accounting.
• Hands-on experience supporting accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and fixed asset accounting.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting functions including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, fixed assets, and reconciliations.
• Direct the monthly and annual close processes and ensure timely preparation of accurate financial statements.
• Maintain GAAP compliance and monitor accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and other financial planning activities.
• Evaluate accounting processes and implement improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and reporting capabilities.
• Lead, coach, and develop accounting personnel to support team performance and professional growth.

Job Title: Accounting Manager

Salary: $100,000 - $115,000

Position Overview

The Accounting Manager will play a key role in managing the organization's accounting function and ensuring the integrity of financial information. This leadership position is responsible for overseeing general accounting activities, managing the month-end close process, preparing financial reports, and supervising accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and fixed asset activities. The Accounting Manager will collaborate with company leadership to support financial planning, business initiatives, and continuous process improvement while developing and mentoring accounting staff.
