Job Summary

The Accounting Manager will lead the AR/AP team and ensure the accuracy and integrity of our financial operations. This role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day accounting activities, managing month-end and year-end close processes, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Duties / Responsibilities
  • Supervise and manage the daily operations of AR/AP, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
  • Lead the month-end and year-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and support the audit process.
  • Maintain and enforce internal controls to ensure compliance and safeguard company assets.
  • Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting.
  • Analyze financial data and provide insights to senior management.
  • Assist the Controller for tax reporting and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate accounting staff performance.
  • Implement process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness of the accounting function.

Education and Experience
