Job summary

Sayva Solutions is seeking experienced Senior Revenue Accountants to support revenue accounting activities, monthly close, reconciliations, and financial reporting for an anticipated client engagement in the Houston area.

The role involves partnering with accounting, finance, and business teams to ensure accurate and timely financial results, and may evolve as the scope is finalized. Training and preparation for interviews are provided as part of Sayva’s advisory support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2+ years of accounting experience.
• Experience supporting revenue accounting and month-end close activities.
• Strong understanding of fundamental accounting principles.
• Experience preparing journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and experience working with accounting or ERP systems.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet established deadlines.
• Collaborative and adaptable approach within a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Support recurring revenue accounting activities and related month-end close processes.
• Prepare and record journal entries and maintain supporting documentation.
• Perform account reconciliations and investigate and resolve discrepancies.
• Analyze revenue-related activity to help ensure the completeness and accuracy of financial results.
• Assist with recurring financial reporting and account analysis.
• Partner with accounting, finance, and other business teams to gather information and resolve accounting matters.
• Maintain appropriate documentation and support internal accounting processes and controls.
• Assist with audit requests and other financial reporting requirements as needed.
• Identify opportunities to improve the efficiency and accuracy of accounting processes.
• Perform ad hoc accounting and financial analysis as business needs arise.

Sayva Solutions is beginning to connect with experienced Senior Revenue Accountants for an anticipated opportunity with an established organization. We are currently working with the client to finalize the position’s scope, timing, and hiring needs and are proactively developing a pipeline of qualified candidates.

The anticipated position will support revenue accounting activities, monthly close, account reconciliations, financial reporting, and related accounting processes. This individual is expected to work closely with accounting and cross-functional business partners to help ensure accurate and timely financial results.

Anticipated Salary Range: $90,000–$115,000
