Job summary

LSL, LLP in Orange County, California, is seeking a Senior Manager to lead complex accounting, financial reporting, compliance, and performance improvement projects while delivering strategic guidance to clients.

You will supervise a team of consultants and accountants, collaborate with partners across the firm, stay current with industry trends, and uphold integrity and professional standards; this role offers remote flexibility, every other Friday off, and a strong total rewards package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics required.
• Must possess an active CPA license.
• 7+ years in public accounting or accounting department with progression.
• Minimum 5 years in a supervisory position.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
• Experience with Caseware preferred.
• Knowledge of ERP systems such as Oracle, PeopleSoft, Workday, Incode.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with clients; provide strategic accounting guidance and technical expertise.

Senior Manager

What you will be doing:

• Lead and manage complex projects related to accounting, financial reporting, compliance, and performance improvement.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients. Provide strategic guidance and technical expertise to clients on accounting standards, policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Supervise, mentor, and coach a team of consultants and accountants, ensuring high-quality deliverables and client satisfaction.
• Collaborate with partners, directors and senior managers across the firm on cross-functional and cross-service line initiatives.
• Stay abreast of current and emerging trends, issues, and challenges in the accounting and consulting industry.
• Demonstrate leadership, integrity, professionalism, and commitment to the firm's values and mission.
• Other duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree, required with a concentration in Accounting, Finance or Economics, preferred.
• Must possess an active CPA license.
• Seven (7) years’ experience in public accounting or within an accounting department, demonstrating a proven progression in complexity, scope, required.
• Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in a supervisory position.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams), required.
• Experience using Caseware, preferred.
• Knowledge of ERP systems such as Oracle, PeopleSoft, Workday, Incode, preferred.

Work Authorization

Must be authorized to work in the United States permanently without the requirement of sponsorship at any point in the future.

Salary Range

Salary Range: $117,000 - $175,000

Please note that quoted salary ranges are not guarantees of what final salary offers may be. Base pay may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location. Base pay is only one part of the Total Rewards that LSL, LLP provides to compensate and recognize our professionals for their work. All exempt positions are eligible for a discretionary bonus and all employees who are regularly scheduled to work 30 hours or more per week are offered a comprehensive benefits package.
