Job summary

Cerapedics is seeking a Manager, Accounting – Compliance for our Westminster, CO office. This on-site role leads accounting compliance initiatives, strengthens internal controls, and supports audits to ensure GAAP adherence and regulatory compliance.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive efficient, accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate has 6+ years in accounting/compliance, a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance, and experience with tax filings and healthcare

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of six years of progressive accounting, financial reporting, tax, or regulatory compliance experience.
• Experience with state and federal tax filings, state registrations, healthcare compliance reporting, or life sciences compliance strongly preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee general accounting tasks, including book-close responsibilities.
• Drive automation, AI, and other process improvements within accounting, plus financial analysis and close activities.
• Manage federal, state, and local tax compliance; coordinate with external tax advisors.
• Own Sunshine Act and CMS Open Payments reporting and HCP transparency submissions across functions.
• Oversee secretary of state registrations, annual reports, and renewals.
• Provide coverage for critical accounting responsibilities when team members are unavailable.
