Job summary

Cerapedics Inc. in Westminster, Colorado, is seeking a Manager, Accounting – Compliance to strengthen financial reporting, internal controls, and regulatory adherence.

You will lead GAAP-compliant accounting processes, manage tax compliance, and coordinate audits while driving process improvements across the organization. This onsite role offers collaboration with cross-functional teams in a fast-growing medical device company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of six years of progressive accounting, financial reporting, tax, or regulatory compliance experience.
• Experience with state and federal tax filings, state registrations, healthcare compliance reporting, or life sciences compliance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting close responsibilities and book-closing tasks.
• Drive automation, AI, and process improvements within accounting and reporting.
• Manage federal, state, and local tax compliance; coordinate with external tax advisors.
• Own Sunshine Act and CMS Open Payments reporting; manage related registrations and renewals.
• Oversee secretary of state registrations, annual reports, and renewals.
• Support audits and monitor regulatory changes to improve controls and processes.
