CLEAR is redefining secure identity, seeking an experienced Manager, Accounting to oversee closes and reporting under US GAAP. You will own general ledger activities, journal entries, reconciliations, and internal controls while collaborating with Finance, Payroll, Legal, and Operations.

Focus areas include SOX compliance, audit readiness, and driving automation through AI-powered improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy across the close process.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of accounting experience with strong US GAAP knowledge.
• Experience implementing SOX controls and supporting audits.
• Ability to resolve complex accounting matters without templates.
• Proven cross-functional collaboration and communication.

Responsibilities

• Own key general ledger activities across monthly, quarterly, and annual close cycles.
• Prepare and review journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and flux analyses.
• Partner with Finance, Payroll, Legal, and Operations to resolve complex accounting matters.
• Identify and implement process improvements using AI and automation.
