Job summary

CLEAR is seeking a Senior Accountant to lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close, ensuring accurate records under U.S. GAAP and strong internal controls. You will own journal entries, reconciliations, and analyses, partnering with Finance, Payroll, Legal, and Operations to support reporting and audits.

The role emphasizes driving improvements with AI and automation, across SOX controls and scalable processes, with a base salary range of $130,000–$155,000.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with strong U.S. GAAP knowledge.
• Strong understanding of SOX controls and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Own key general ledger activities across monthly, quarterly, and annual close cycles.
• Prepare and review journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and flux analyses.
• Partner with Finance, Payroll, Legal, and Operations to resolve complex accounting matters and support reporting and audits.
• Execute and strengthen internal controls and drive process improvements using AI and automation.
