Job summary

CLEAR is building the secure identity platform of the future. The Senior Accountant will own key general ledger activities across monthly, quarterly, and annual closes, drive journal entries, reconciliations, and flux analyses, and partner with Finance, Payroll, Legal, and Operations to resolve complex accounting matters.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of accounting experience with strong U.S. GAAP knowledge
• Experience managing complex general ledger activities
• Public accounting experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Own key general ledger activities across monthly, quarterly, and annual close cycles.
• Prepare and review journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and flux analyses.
• Partner with Finance, Payroll, Legal, and Operations to resolve complex accounting matters and support reporting/audit requests.
• Execute and strengthen internal controls, maintaining SOX compliance and audit-ready documentation.
