Job summary

CLEAR is building the secure identity company of the future. The Senior Accountant will own key general ledger activities, support monthly, quarterly, and annual closes, and help ensure accurate financial records and SOX compliance.

You will collaborate with Finance, Payroll, Legal, and Operations, leverage automation and AI to streamline processes, and participate in compensation for the role with a base salary range of $130,000 to $155,000.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with strong US GAAP knowledge.
• Experience managing complex general ledger activities and close processes.
• Knowledge of SOX controls and audit readiness.
• Ability to collaborate with Finance, Payroll, Legal, and Operations.
• Interest in automation, AI, and scalable processes.

Responsibilities

• Own GL activities across monthly, quarterly, and annual closes.
• Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and flux analyses.
• Partner with Finance, Payroll, Legal, and Operations on accounting matters.
• Execute and strengthen internal controls for SOX compliance.
• Identify and implement process improvements with AI and automation.
