Job summary

Vaco Recruiter Services is seeking an Accounting Clerk based in Vancouver, Washington. In this role, you'll support the accounting team during a transition by handling accounts payable and receivable tasks, performing cash reconciliations, and generating reports.

The position will initially be fully onsite, moving to a hybrid schedule after training, allowing work from home on Mondays and Fridays. Strong attention to detail and 2+ years of relevant experience are required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of accounting, bookkeeping, AP/AR, or accounting clerk experience.
• Strong experience performing cash reconciliations.
• Ability to learn new systems quickly.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable invoices and route approvals.
• Enter AP transactions into the accounting system.
• Assist with accounts receivable and billing activities.
• Perform cash reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Generate recurring reports for the finance team.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and documentation.
• Assist with month-end accounting activities.
• Support the accounting team with ad-hoc projects and special requests.
