Job summary

CFS is seeking a flexible, part-time Accounting Clerk in the Lake Forest, IL area to support AP and assist with AR during a SAP transition. 20-30 hours per week with a collaborative team and immediate impact. This role offers exposure to SAP in a growing accounting environment.

You will process vendor invoices, manage approvals, and help with month-end close while contributing to day-to-day operations. The assignment could extend based on business needs and fit.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of Accounts Payable experience required.
• Exposure to Accounts Receivable processes preferred.
• SAP experience is a plus but not required.
• Basic Excel skills required; familiarity with pivot tables is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Process and post vendor invoices, including coding and approvals.
• Monitor and manage the accounts payable inbox and invoice workflow.
• Verify OCR-captured invoice data and import transactions into SAP.
• Assist with accounts receivable activities, including generating customer invoices.
• Support day-to-day accounting operations and month-end processes.
