Job summary

PCA is seeking an Accounting Associate to maintain all accounting records and produce timely GAAP-compliant reports for the plant. You will post entries to the general ledger, verify balances, and support AP/AR and payroll processing weekly.

The role assists month-end closings, maintains files, and provides administrative support to the accounting team. Strong Excel skills and attention to detail are essential in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Education: high school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year accounting or payroll experience.
• Solid knowledge of accounting procedures.
• Strong Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Post entries to the general ledger and balance accounts.
• Process accounts payable transactions and batch payments.
• Post and adjust accounts receivable transactions.
• Support weekly payroll processing.
• Assist month-end closings for the plant.
• Maintain accounting and payroll files and documentation.
• Provide general admin support and respond to corporate requests.
• Maintain follow-up to ensure timely submissions.
