Job summary

WingSwept is seeking a full-time Accounting Associate to join our growing finance team in Garner, NC. The role focuses on accurate data entry for payables and receivables, under the VP of Finance, with opportunities to contribute to special projects.

Qualifications

Responsibilities:

This position will report directly to our VP of Finance andworkclosely with the rest of the finance team. Responsibilities include:

• Read and effectively interpret general business documentation for data entry
  • Accounts Payable: entry of expense reports, vendor invoices, and credit card charges
  • Accounts Receivable: entry of receivables
• Special projects as assigned

Minimum Requirements:

• Evidence of ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
• Some experience with accounting software required; Intacct preferred
• Associate's or higher degree in accounting preferred
• Some accounting and/or business experience preferredEvidence of understanding accounting principles
• Competent in math and written communication skills
• Firm grasp of technology and how to use Microsoft Outlook and Excel
• Must be able to work a regular schedule 40 hours per week in our office in Garner, NC
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test
