Job summary

Vaco Recruiter Services invites applications for an accounting role focusing on AP, AR, and general ledger activities in a not-for-profit setting. This position requires solid bank reconciliation and journal entry work and offers opportunity to impact month-end close.

The successful candidate will supervise AP/AR processes, assist with audits, and coordinate with ERP systems (PeopleSoft) and MS Office to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Community College diploma in Accounting.
• 3–5 years of bank reconciliations, account analysis, journal entries, and general GL, AP/AR for not-for-profit.
• Experience with ERP-based financial systems (PeopleSoft) and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Verify bank reconciliations and account analyses.
• Prepare monthly journal entries and close for AP/AR modules.
• Oversee AP/AR processes and assist auditors.
• Process EFT/payments and reconcile Purchasing Card transactions.
