The role emphasizes GAAP compliance, accurate financial reporting, and collaboration with the Accounts Payable team and other departments. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of accounting experience and proficiency in Office 365 and Workday.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• 3–5 years of accounting experience in a related setting.
• 2–3 years with a computerized accounting system.
• Solid knowledge of GAAP and journal entry processing.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and Workday.

Responsibilities

• Process journal entries and maintain chart of accounts.
• Prepare complex balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances.
• Audit petty cash and inventory for accuracy.
• Administer purchase card program and AP processes.
• Support ERP Workday and accounting procedures.
• Prepare year-end audit workpapers and assist auditors.
• File reports for unclaimed property, sales tax, and other taxes.
• Maintain and update department webpage and related documentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
