Job summary

St. Norbert College seeks an Accounting Manager to lead the Accounting Services team on campus. You will supervise staff, manage monthly and year-end closings, and collaborate with external auditors for audits and tax reporting.

The role also oversees fixed assets, endowments, investments, and budgeting processes, providing financial insights for planning. On-site position with benefits package and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
• CPA license preferred.
• 10+ years accounting experience; 5+ years supervisory experience.
• Extensive knowledge of US GAAP and Single Audit rules.
• Experience with Workday and Banner preferred.
• Strong knowledge of process controls and internal controls.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel/Word) and Google Apps; ability to learn upgrades.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and develop Accounting Services staff.
• Manage monthly and year-end closings with reconciliations and entries.
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax reporting activities.
• Oversee fixed assets accounting and capital projects tracking.
• Oversee endowments and investments accounting and reporting.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
