Job summary

ARKRAY AMERICA INC. in Dallas TX seeks an experienced accounting professional to ensure integrity of financial data by recording, verifying, consolidating and entering transactions. The role emphasizes payroll, tax processing, budgeting and forecast updates.

You will manage annual filings, invoicing, and confidential information while supporting the broader finance team with timely reporting. A 4-year accounting degree and 4–6 years in accounting/finance are preferred; medical billing exp.

Qualifications

  • 4-year accounting degree preferred, or equivalent education and experience.
  • Two years of experience with Medical Billing required.
  • Four to 6 years of experience in accounting/finance with GAAP knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Calculate monthly payroll and banking activities by verifying, allocating, posting, reconciling transactions and resolving discrepancies.
  • Manage sales tax process, including maintenance of tax codes in Avalara and related reconciliations.
  • Update internal forecasts monthly using actual results and prepare variance analyses.
  • Coordinate annual budget process and schedules.
  • Prepare and distribute daily sales reporting.
  • Oversee related-party invoicing and commissions calculations.
  • Manage annual Secretary of State filings to ensure compliance.
  • Coordinate annual insurance renewal processes and related journal entries.
  • Track and update approved project budgets by line item.
  • Protect organization confidentiality; perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Responsible for calculating monthly payroll and banking activities by verifying, allocating, posting, reconciling transactions and resolving discrepancies.
  • Manages sales tax process, including maintenance of part assignments, tax codes in Avalara, exception certificates, payments and related account reconciliations.
  • Updates internal forecasts on a monthly basis using actual results; prepares and distributes variance analysis, including follow‑up and documentation.
  • Coordinates annual budget process and schedules.
  • Prepares and distributes daily sales reporting.
  • Oversees related‑party invoicing and related commissions calculations.
  • Manages annual Secretary of State filings to ensure compliance.
  • Coordinates annual insurance renewal processes, including applications, certificates of liability, expense budgeting, associated journal entries to expense, and reconciliations.
  • Tracks and updates approved project budgets by line item, incorporating additions as needed.
  • Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Knowledge and Skills
  • 4‑year accounting degree preferred, or equivalent education and experience.
  • Two years of experience with Medical Billing required.
  • Four to 6 years of experience in accounting/finance.
  • Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and knowledge of Statutory accounting principles.
  • Strong analytical and accounting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team and to take on tasks with high levels of difficulty.
  • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills and ability to interact successfully with all levels of employees in the organization.
