ARKRAY AMERICA INC in Plano, TX seeks Senior Accounting Manager to oversee accounting operations, ensure GAAP-compliant financial reporting, and support strategic planning. You will lead month-end close, budgeting, forecasts, audits, and cash management while driving process improvements.

You will partner with executives and cross-functional teams, supervise accounting staff, manage ERP system administration, and maintain internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 7–10 years progressive accounting experience.
• 3+ years leadership or supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Experience managing annual audits with external auditors.
• Advanced Excel and ERP systems experience.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations including general ledger and close processes.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports per GAAP.
• Develop and maintain internal controls for accuracy and compliance.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and analysis.
• Coordinate audits and liaise with auditors and tax professionals.
• Review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial transactions.

Position Summary

The Senior Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing the organization's accounting operations, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting, maintaining compliance with accounting standards, and supporting strategic financial planning. This role partners closely with executive leadership to manage budgeting, forecasting, audits, cash management, payroll, and overall accounting operations while leading continuous process improvements.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations, including the general ledger, month‑end and year‑end close processes, and financial statement preparation.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in accordance with GAAP.
• Develop and maintain effective internal controls to ensure financial accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial analysis activities.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and serve as the primary contact for auditors and tax professionals.
• Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial transactions for accuracy and completeness.
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, fixed assets, and related accounting functions.
• Analyze financial results, prepare variance reports, and provide recommendations to support executive decision‑making.
• Maintain banking relationships and oversee treasury and cash management activities.
• Support ERP system administration, process improvements, and implementation of accounting best practices.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional departments including Sales, Human Resources, Operations, and Executive Leadership.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 7–10 years of progressive accounting experience, including financial reporting, budgeting, and general ledger management.
• 3+ years of leadership or supervisory experience managing accounting staff or accounting operations.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
• Experience managing annual audits and working with external auditors.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP systems.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to partner effectively across all levels of the organization.

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA certification preferred.
• Experience with SAP, Concur, or similar ERP/accounting systems.
• Experience in manufacturing, medical device, or a multi‑entity corporate environment.
