Job summary

Siemens EDA in Silicon Valley seeks a senior sales-focused engineer to drive our hardware-accelerated verification business. You will own development and execution of account strategies for hardware prototyping and emulation within select key customers.

Responsibilities include fostering customer relationships, defining product introduction strategies, leading campaigns, and presenting at industry events. Travel up to 40% is expected.

Qualifications

• Four-year Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent.
• Strong working knowledge of contemporary digital design verification practices employing hardware acceleration.
• 5–8 years of hardware-assisted verification experience (emulation or FPGA prototyping).
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
• Customer-facing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Foster relationships with customers to understand challenges and propose Siemens solutions.
• Develop customer-facing product introduction strategy with field management.
• Define, lead and manage account campaigns.
• Develop knowledge of electronics industry trends and customer specifics.
• Create and deliver presentations at local industry events to represent Siemens EDA.
• Summarize competitive offerings and trends in the area.
• Travel up to 40%.
