Job description

Account Supervisor

This position works with management to drive solutions that improve customer service and reduce transportation costs. The Account Supervisor will be responsible for managing all operation execution for a premier dedicated contract customer within the Cranberry Township/Pittsburgh area. Customer service, driver management, on-time delivery and problem-solving skills are the key components to this role.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for routing and driver performance: route planning, staffing levels/freight volume forecasting and equipment availability
• Ensure standard operating procedure
• Directly involved with daily workflow including route assignments
• Manage communication with the customer and drivers (delivery and/or back haul locations)
• Prepare required reports for Aim management
• Comply with DOT regulations and Aim policies

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or minimum 5 years’ experience in transportation driver management
• CDL A Preferred
