James Edward & Companies Group is seeking an Account Sales Trainee in Asheville, NC for a full-time, entry-level role. You will train with Account Sales Managers and cover routes as needed to support sales initiatives and customer relationships across stores.

The role emphasizes safety, route coverage, and collaboration with management to maintain relationships between sales, merchandising, and operations. Prior sales exposure and a DOT-ready status are advantageous.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Clear background and drug testing.
• DOT certification required or obtainable during employment.
• Prior sales experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Train with Account Sales Managers and cover routes as needed.
• Operate company vehicles in compliance with state/federal laws.
• Maintain signed invoices, bills, and paperwork accurately.
• Deliver documentation to staff upon completion of deliveries.
• Monitor competitor activities and pricing changes.
• Achieve monthly KPI targets for sales, pricing, and merchandising.
• Maintain clear communication across the team.
• Ensure equipment is clean and in good working order.
• Support brand protection and company image.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
