Job summary

James Edward and Companies seeks an Account Sales Trainee in the North Austin/Round Rock area. This training role supports sales initiatives and acts as coverage for Account Sales Managers during vacations or special projects, while building strong customer relationships with stores.

The AST will work with management to service customers, follow company standards, and develop skills in sales, merchandising, and operations for off-premise accounts across large and small formats.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication required.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines with good time management.
• Prior sales experience preferred.
• Knowledge of beverage market preferred.
• Must have clear background and drug testing.

Responsibilities

• Train with ASMs and cover routes as needed.
• Operate company vehicles in accordance with laws.
• Maintain invoices, bills, and paperwork.
• Deliver documentation to staff.
• Monitor competitor activities.
• Achieve monthly KPIs for sales, distribution, pricing, display, new accounts, and merchandising.
• Maintain communication across the team.
• Ensure equipment is clean and in good working order.
• Build and protect the company brand.
• Other duties as assigned.
