Job summary

Lakeshore-Beverage is seeking a route sales professional to deliver products on a designated route and provide top-notch customer service. The role focuses on safe, timely delivery, maximizing product sales, and maintaining in-store displays to ensure product availability.

Responsibilities include negotiating POS materials, training Sales Assistants, hanging displays, and dropping off beer samples. The candidate should be 21+, have a valid license, and adhere to liquor laws.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Able to lift, bend, pull and push with minimal supervision.
• Driving record acceptable to the Company.
• Knowledge of local, state and federal liquor laws.
• High School Diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products on assigned route with safe, timely execution.
• Maximize sales and maintain displays for maximum availability.
• Negotiate, obtain and update POS materials at each retailer.
• Train and coach Sales Assistants to meet standards.

This position is accountable for producing maximum sales and distribution of draft and/or package products and providing quality service to all customers on an assigned route.ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIESAdhere to Company programs and policies that will result in the safe execution of timely delivery, maximized sales, and minimized returns.Maintain a clean driving record.Monitor and control inventory levels for each account by conducting a physical inventory and restocking all coolers and in store space and displays to provide maximum availability of products while maintaining quality control and freshness standards.Responsible for negotiating, obtaining, maintaining, and updating all Point-of-Sale materials at each retailer’s location.Maintain current knowledge of all supplier brands and packages, pricing information, and promotional/marketing activities.Expected to meet the standards established and responsible for training and coaching Sales Assistants to meet those same standards.Build displaysHang signsDrop off samples of beer to clientsSAFETYDue to the physical requirements, as well as the need to maintain a high level of continual alertness in the work environment, this is a safety-sensitive position.Must be at least 21 years of ageMust have a driving record acceptable to the CompanyValid driver’s licenseHigh School Diploma or GED required, college degree preferredAble to lift/bend/pull/push and work with minimal supervisionHighly self-motivated and able to work hours as required (weekends, nights and holidays);Knowledge of local, state and federal liquor laws.
