Job summary

TriStar Beverage in Clarksville, TN is seeking a Full-Time Sales Support Associate to assist the Account Sales Representative in maximizing sales and distribution of draft and package products, delivering quality service to customers on assigned routes.

You will learn and implement Structured Sales Processes, build strong retailer relationships, maintain product knowledge, price and promotions awareness, and help create effective displays while adhering to safety and liquor laws.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma/GED required.
• Valid Driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Knowledge of local, state liquor laws.
• 2–5 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Fill in for the Account Sales Representative when needed to meet sales and merchandising goals.
• Learn and mirror Structured Sales Processes to monitor inventory and maximize product availability.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to facilitate sales.

This position is accountable for assisting the Account Sales Representative in producing maximum sales and distribution of draft and/or package products and providing quality service to all customers on an assigned route.

Physical Demands

• Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, climbing, bending, and reaching
• Lift items ranging from 15lbs. (a case of 24 12-oz. cans) up to 162lbs. (one full keg) repetitively
• Manual dexterity, coordination, and mobility
• Combination of Driving/Moving/Walking
• Manipulate kegs up to 160 - 180lbs.

Role and Responsibilities

• Fill in for the Account Sales Representative when needed and/or to supplement the Account Sales Representative’s effort in implementation of approved Company programs and policies that will result in achievement of sales volume and merchandising goals while effectively presenting the Company’s brands to the retailer and the consumer
• Learn and master the Structured Sales Processes to effectively mirror the efforts of the Account Sales Representative in monitoring and controlling inventory levels for each account to provide maximum availability of products while maintaining quality control and freshness standards
• Develop and maintain strong, productive relationships with all customers to facilitate sales
• Maintain current knowledge of all supplier brands and packages, pricing information, and promotional/marketing activities

SAFETY

Due to the physical requirements, as well as the need to maintain a high level of continual alertness in the work environment, this is a safety-sensitive position.
