Job summary

Hand Family Companies is seeking an Account Sales Rep to optimize sales on an assigned Newport, CA route. You will ensure timely delivery, monitor inventory, and maintain POS materials while building brand presence at retailers.

The role requires at least 21 years old, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift and work varied shifts. Knowledge of liquor laws and the ability to train Sales Assistants are essential components.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have a driving record acceptable to the Company.
• Valid driver’s license.
• High School Diploma or GED required, college degree preferred.
• Able to lift/bend/pull/push and work with minimal supervision.
• Highly self-motivated and able to work hours as required (weekends, nights and holidays).
• Knowledge of local, state and federal liquor laws.

Responsibilities

• Produce maximum sales and distribution of draft and/or package products.
• Provide quality service to all customers on assigned route.
• Adhere to company programs and policies for safe, timely delivery and minimizing returns.
• Monitor and control inventory; restock coolers and displays for maximum availability.
• Negotiate and maintain Point-of-Sale materials at retailers’ locations.
• Maintain knowledge of supplier brands, pricing and promotions.
• Train and coach Sales Assistants to meet standards.
• Build displays, hang signs, and drop off beer samples to clients.
