Job summary

Matt Stokes - State Farm Agent in Twin Falls, Idaho, is seeking an Account Representative to grow the agency through meaningful customer relations and proactive marketing of relevant products and services.

ABOUT OUR AGENCY:

I opened my agency in 2002 and currently lead a close-knit team of four. Before becoming a State Farm agent, I worked in State Farm management, giving me valuable experience in leadership and team development. I’m a graduate of Boise State University, married, and a proud father of five. State Farm also runs in the family - I’m the oldest of four brothers, and all four of us are State Farm agents!

Outside of work, I enjoy coaching, motorcycle riding, and cheering on Boise State football. Giving back is also important to me. I’ve spent time coaching Twin Falls youth basketball and remain involved with the Boy Scouts as both an Eagle Scout and volunteer.

ROLE DESCRIPTION

As an Account Representative for Matt Stokes - State Farm Agent, you are vital to our daily business operations and customers’ success. You help grow our agency through meaningful customer relations and acting as a liaison between customer needs and agency departments. You improve the lives of customers by proactively marketing relevant products and services.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market products and services to help meet those needs.
• Establish customer relationships and follow up with customers, as needed.
• Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. Service can include responding to inquiries regarding product availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
• Promote successful and long-lasting customer relations.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in sales (outside sales or inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing) preferred.
• Experience in managing customer relationships preferred.
• Interest in marketing products and services based on customer needs.
• Communication skills - written, verbal, and listening.
• Dedicated to customer service.
• Able to anticipate customer needs.
