Account & Relationship Management Executive - Higher Ed Sales (Nursing) - Remote KS

LOCATION: This position works from a remote home office and will reside in or near the Kansas City KS area.

Overview: You will be part of the Health Learning, Research & Practice (HLRP) Business Unit within Wolters Kluwer Health. The role is challenging and fulfilling, requiring a drive to learn and help nursing higher educational institutions adopt more effective learning models. The territory will mainly cover Kansas and Nebraska (and neighboring areas). You will sell products such as CoursePoint+ (course materials), DocuCare (EHR), VSIM/VRClinicals (virtual patient simulation), and Lippincott Ready for NCLEX (testing prep).

You will manage a territory of accounts and work within an organization dedicated to building effective performance conditions. You will have support from a Regional Sales Manager who will coach you and help you develop sales and marketing skills. This role offers the opportunity to advance Wolters Kluwer Health's position in nursing education, especially in digital solutions, with uncapped earning potential.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain a sales pipeline to meet sales objectives through prospecting and account management.
  • Create sales strategies for prospects and assigned accounts; manage deals through the sales cycle.
  • Communicate with customers regarding account issues, concerns, and suggestions.
  • Negotiate service and product terms with clients.
  • Collaborate with sales, order processing, and customer support teams to develop solutions.
  • Handle add-on sales for existing clients.
  • Utilize Salesforce CRM to process, track, and organize client information.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent relevant experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience in Account Management, Sales, or similar roles.
  • Knowledge of business, financials, products, services, and market trends, with recognized expertise in the industry.
  • Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage your territory and accounts effectively.

TRAVEL: Up to 4 days per week.
