LOCATION: This position works from a remote home office and will reside in or near the Kansas City KS area.

Overview

You will be part of the Health Learning, Research & Practice (HLRP) Business Unit within Wolters Kluwer Health. This role is challenging and fulfilling. To succeed, you should be driven to continuously learn and help nursing higher educational institutions adopt more effective learning models. The territory will mainly cover Kansas and Nebraska, along with neighboring areas. You will be selling CoursePoint+ (course materials), DocuCare (EHR), VSIM/VRClinicals (virtual patient simulation), and Lippincott Ready for NCLEX (testing prep).

You will manage a territory of accounts and work for an organization committed to building effective performance conditions. You will have a Regional Sales Manager as a coach to support your career growth and help you learn emerging sales and marketing best practices. Your role is vital in positioning Wolters Kluwer Health at the forefront of nursing education, especially in digital solutions, with uncapped earning potential.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a sales pipeline of opportunities to meet sales goals through prospecting and account management.
  • Create sales strategies for prospects and assigned accounts and successfully manage deals through the sales cycle.
  • Communicate with customers regarding any account issues and discuss concerns and suggestions.
  • Negotiate service and product terms with customers.
  • Report suggestions and develop solutions with sales, order processing, and customer support teams.
  • Handle add-on sales for clients.
  • Utilize the customer relationship management (CRM) system Salesforce to process, track, and organize client information.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent relevant experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience in Account Management, Sales, or similar roles.
  • Understanding of business, financials, products & services, and the market, preferably with recognized expertise in your industry.
  • Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage your territory and accounts effectively and monitor resources accordingly.

TRAVEL: Up to 4 days of travel per week.
