Qualifications

  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to customer locations.

Job description

Duties & Responsibilities:Client Relationship ManagementServe as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the sales lifecycle.Build and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing clients.Deliver a high-touch, consultative client experience that reflects Hyphn's values and service standards.Understand clients' business objectives, workplace strategies, operational challenges, and technology needs.Conduct discovery meetings, needs assessments, and solution development sessions.Business Development & SalesIdentify, pursue, and develop new business opportunities within existing and prospective accounts.Generate revenue through relationship development, networking, referrals, industry events, and strategic outreach.Maintain and grow a healthy sales pipeline.Achieve annual revenue, gross profit, and strategic growth objectives.Lead or support responses to RFPs, RFQs, and other procurement opportunities.Identify opportunities to introduce additional Hyphn business units and services where appropriate.Solution DevelopmentCollaborate with engineering and technical teams to develop effective workplace technology solutions.Assist clients in defining project scope, requirements, budgets, and desired outcomes.Support the development of estimates, proposals, and project documentation.Align recommended solutions with client goals, technical requirements, schedule constraints, and budget expectations.Stay current on workplace technology trends and emerging solutions to provide informed recommendations.Project Transition & Internal CoordinationEnsure all project requirements and expectations are clearly communicated to operational teams.Facilitate project handoff and kickoff meetings.Maintain active communication with project managers, engineers, and field teams throughout project execution.Support successful project delivery by proactively addressing client concerns and coordinating internal resources.Advocate for client success while maintaining alignment with project scope, schedule, and business objectives.Pipeline & CRM ManagementMaintain accurate client, opportunity, and forecasting information within Hyphn's CRM platform.Provide regular sales forecasts and pipeline updates.Track key account activities, project milestones, and follow-up actions.Utilize CRM data to support strategic account planning and business development efforts.Required5+ years of experience in one or more of the following industries:Audio Visual (AV)Structured Cabling / Low VoltageSecurity & Access ControlSystems IntegrationTechnology ConsultingConstruction TechnologyProven experience managing client relationships and driving business growth.Strong understanding of solution-based sales methodologies.Experience developing scopes of work, budgets, quotes, and proposals.Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.Valid driver's license, clean driving record and reliable transportation to travel to customer locations as required.Existing relationships within the Portland business and construction communities is strongly preferred.PreferredAVIXA CTS or other relevant industry certifications.Experience with D-Tools, Bluebeam, or similar industry software.Experience with CRM platforms such as NetSuite, Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar systems.Knowledge of workplace technology project lifecycles, design processes, and construction coordination.Familiarity with regional commercial construction and technology markets.Core CompetenciesClient FocusBusiness DevelopmentStrategic ThinkingCommunication & PresentationRelationship BuildingCollaborationProblem SolvingTechnical AptitudeOrganization & Time ManagementProfessionalism & AccountabilityPhysical RequirementsAbility to visit active construction and customer sites.Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.Ability to stand, walk, kneel, climb ladders, and work in varying site conditions when required.Work EnvironmentThis position operates in a hybrid environment consisting of:Hyphn office locationsCustomer sitesRemote work environmentsLanguage SkillsAbility to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents.
