Job summary

The Hilb Group, LLC is seeking a motivated Personal Lines Account Manager to join our team in Williston Park or Staten Island, NY. This hybrid position emphasizes client relationship management, policy servicing, and proactive account maintenance.

You will handle inquiries on coverages and endorsements, coordinate with carriers, and manage renewals while delivering excellent service. A strong background in P&C insurance and customer-facing roles is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School degree.
• 3+ years of experience in customer service and/or sales in the P&C insurance industry.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate via phone or email.
• Superior listening skills and ability to identify customer needs through questioning.

Responsibilities

• Proactively manage an assigned book of business as the primary client relationship manager for account servicing and maintenance.
• Handle inquiries regarding insurance coverages, policy changes and general insurance questions.
• Process paperwork for endorsements, billing and service requests.
• Act as liaison between customer and carrier to ensure mutual benefit.
• Maintain knowledge of company systems and offerings and renewals process.
