Job description

We are seeking a motivated and ambitious Personal Lines Account Manager to join our team.

This position will report to our agency in Williston Park, NY and is an in‑office role. The ideal candidate will be well organized, able to prioritize, and able to work well with a team.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of clients’ personal insurance needs, from information gathering and preparing applications to renewal marketing and policy administration.
• Explain coverages and types of policies, suggest specific coverage enhancements, and resolve general customer inquiries.
• Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with clients, their representatives and insurance company personnel.
• Accurately and efficiently maintain electronic client account records and documentation while processing rewrites, endorsements, cancellations and renewals.
• Participate as a team member in a fast‑paced, growing sales environment open to continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Exceptional aptitude for customer service with a minimum of five years of Personal Insurance industry experience.
• Experience with personal high‑net‑worth carriers such as Chubb, PURE, Berkley One & Cincinnati.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment, upbeat attitude, and strong written, verbal and organizational skills.
• Excellent time management and problem‑solving skills with strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and AMS/Image Right.
