The Hilb Group, LLC is seeking a motivated Personal Lines Account Manager to join our Lafayette, LA office. This in-office role focuses on managing an assigned book of business, servicing client needs, handling inquiries, and coordinating with carriers to secure favorable renewal terms.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in customer service or sales within P&C insurance, strong communication and time-management skills, and proficiency with AMS360.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School degree.
• 3+ years in customer service and/or sales in the P&C insurance industry.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent listening and needs-based questioning abilities.
• Self-directed with solid time management.
• Proficient PC skills; AMS360 knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Proactively manage an assigned book of business as the primary client relationship manager.
• Handle inquiries regarding coverages, policy changes and general questions for lines of business.
• Process billing, service requests, endorsements and related paperwork.
• Act as liaison between customer and carrier to maintain mutually beneficial relationships.
• Manage renewal/expiration lists, obtain updates, and assist with renewal pricing when needed.
• Maintain knowledge of company systems and product offerings.

The ideal candidate will be motivated to succeed, is well organized, able to prioritize, and able to work well with a team.
