The Hilb Group is seeking a motivated Personal Lines Account Manager to join our team in a hybrid role located near Williston Park or Staten Island, NY. You will manage an assigned book of business as the primary client relationship manager, handling policy inquiries, endorsements, and renewals, while coordinating with carriers to secure favorable terms.

The ideal candidate has strong organizational skills, 3+ years in customer service or sales in the P&C insurance space, and excellent

Qualifications

• Minimum High School degree.
• 3+ years of customer service and/or sales experience in the P&C insurance industry.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills via phone or email.
• Superior listening skills with question-based selling and retention techniques.
• Self-directed with good decision making and time management.

Responsibilities

• Proactively manage an assigned book of business as primary client relationship manager for account servicing and maintenance.
• Handle inquiries on coverages, policy changes and general insurance questions for lines of business.
• Process billing, service and endorsement requests and related paperwork.
• Serve as liaison between customer and carrier to ensure mutually beneficial relationships.
• Review renewal/expiration lists, obtain updates, and negotiate renewal pricing when needed.
• Maintain knowledge of all company systems and offerings.
