Job summary

GroundSystems in Ohio seeks an Account Manager to serve as the primary contact for contracted accounts, ensuring follow-through, renewals, and expansion opportunities. You will build strong customer relationships, inspect properties, and collaborate with Operations to meet performance standards.

The role requires horticultural knowledge, prior account management and landscape industry experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency with CRM software.

Qualifications

• Horticultural knowledge required.
• Prior account management and customer service experience.
• Experience in the landscape industry.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfort with CRM software and computers.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Able to work independently or in a team.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Build strong customer relationships through frequent communication.
• Inspect properties and proactively provide solutions.
• Ensure properties meet or exceed quality expectations.
• Develop long-term property plans and budgeting assistance.
• Conduct on-site walkthroughs with customers.
• Assist in resolving accounts receivable issues.
• Coordinate with Operations to meet performance targets.
• Assist in snow operations as needed.
• Present renewals and enhancements in a timely manner.
• Meet or exceed renewal and enhancement sales goals.
• Update CRM with sales opportunities and follow up.
• Ensure contract administration is timely and accurate.
• Represent GroundSystems at events to develop opportunities.
• Learn new techniques to improve tasks.
• Other duties as assigned.
