UFP Industries in Miami is seeking an Account Manager to develop and grow sales within an assigned territory by building long-term relationships with existing customers while identifying new business opportunities. You will act as a trusted advisor, helping contractors find cost-effective solutions that support project success and business growth.

The role emphasizes relationship development, market insight, and collaboration with internal teams to drive profitability and customer satisfaction.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field; equivalent industry experience considered.
• Minimum of 5 years of successful sales experience within construction, building materials, concrete forming, or related industries.
• Proven ability to generate leads, develop new business, and grow existing accounts.
• Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Experience working with contractors, builders, or construction professionals preferred.
• Manufacturing industry knowledge is beneficial but not required.
• Familiarity with UFP products, operations, and culture is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, maintain, and strengthen relationships with existing customers.
• Identify customer challenges and provide effective product and service solutions.
• Conduct cost-savings analyses and demonstrate value-driven recommendations.
• Generate new business through prospecting, networking, and relationship development.
• Promote and expand sales of lumber, plywood, and concrete forming products.
• Collaborate with customers to troubleshoot jobsite and product-related issues.
• Assess customer creditworthiness and support account setup processes.
• Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and regional construction opportunities.
• Prepare sales forecasts, territory reports, and other business documentation.
• Partner with internal teams to manage accounts receivable and customer payment activity.
• Participate in inventory management and month-end inventory processes.
• Represent the company professionally while delivering outstanding customer service.
• Perform additional duties and projects as assigned.
