You will identify opportunities, provide cost-effective solutions, and work with internal teams to ensure timely delivery, credit approval, and accurate forecasting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent industry experience considered.
• 5+ years of successful sales experience in construction materials or related industries.
• Proven ability to generate leads and grow existing accounts.
• Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Experience working with contractors or construction professionals preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and strengthen relationships with existing customers.
• Identify customer challenges and provide effective product and service solutions.
• Conduct cost-savings analyses and demonstrate value-driven recommendations.
• Generate new business through prospecting, networking, and relationship development.
• Promote and expand sales of lumber, plywood, and concrete forming products.
• Collaborate with customers to troubleshoot jobsite and product-related issues.
