Job summary

Insurance Office of America seeks an Account Manager - Commercial Lines to manage an assigned book, retain accounts and support new business development. You will coordinate day-to-day admin, service requests, billing, and coverage analysis with a focus on accuracy and client satisfaction.

The role requires 3-5 years of account management experience in insurance, active P&C license (CIC preferred), and strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of account management experience in insurance
• Active property & casualty licensing required
• CIC or equivalent certification preferred
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Excellent customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational abilities
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• High School Diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned book of business, ensure retention, and support new business.
• Coordinate day-to-day administrative and customer service activities.
• Resolve complex issues with a focus on accuracy and no errors.
• Maintain agency systems and carrier/vendor platforms.
• Renewals: negotiate coverages and present proposals.
• Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on delinquencies.
• Communicate workload status and issues to the account team.
• Deliver proactive service and responsive support to clients.
