Job summary

Insurance Office of America seeks an Account Manager - Commercial Lines to manage a book of business, drive retention, and support new business. The role combines client service with renewal negotiations and policy analysis.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years in account management or 5+ years in insurance, active P&C licensing, and preferably a CIC designation. Hybrid/remote work options are available with occasional on-site needs.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of account management experience or 5+ years in insurance
• Active property & casualty licensing is required; CIC preferred
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Excellent customer service, multitasking, and organizational abilities
• Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and policy administration

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned book of business with focus on retention and growth
• Coordinate day-to-day administrative and customer service activities
• Handle policy administration, billing, claims, and coverage analysis
• Renewals: research, submissions, negotiations, and proposals
• Monitor delinquent accounts and collect outstanding balances
• Maintain agency management systems and ensure data accuracy
