Insurance Office of America is seeking an Account Manager – Commercial Lines to manage a book of business with a focus on retention and service excellence. The role supports renewal activity, policy administration, billing, and claims analysis in a dynamic, client-facing environment.

The ideal candidate holds an active property & casualty license, with CIC or equivalent preferred, and 3–5 years in account management or 5+ years in insurance. Strong communication and team leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of account management experience or 5+ years in insurance.
• Active property & casualty license required; CIC preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned book of business to support retention and growth.
• Coordinate day-to-day administrative and client service activities.
• Renewals: research, submissions, and negotiate coverages.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and collect outstanding balances.
• Maintain agency systems and carrier/vendor platforms for data accuracy.
• Communicate workload and issues to the account team regularly.
