Job summary

You will coordinate day-to-day service, renewals, billing, and coverage analysis; a current P&C license is required, CIC preferred, and MS Office skills are essential.

Hybrid work options available with one day in an IOA office or fully remote for those in Eastern/Central Time Zones.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of account management experience, or 5+ years in the insurance industry.
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Active property & casualty licensing; CIC or equivalent designation preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
• Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned book of business, ensuring retention and supporting new business.
• Coordinate day‑to‑day administrative and customer service activities.
• Resolve complex issues and ensure no errors or omissions.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms.
• Renewals: conduct client research, prepare submissions, negotiate coverages, present proposals.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and collect outstanding balances.
• Communicate regularly with the account team regarding workload and issues.
• Deliver excellent service and seek best practices to improve performance.
