Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking an Account Manager for Commercial Lines. The role supports a hybrid/remote work setup and may require on-site presence within a 50-mile radius of a branch location as needed.

You will manage an assigned book of business, retaining clients and handling service requests, renewals, and billing while coordinating day-to-day activities and ensuring accurate policy administration.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of account management experience or 5+ years in insurance
• Licensing: active property & casualty (P&C) license; CIC or equivalent preferred
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned book of business, ensuring retention and supporting new business
• Coordinate day-to-day administrative and customer service activities, resolving complex issues
• Handle policy administration, billing, claims, and coverage analysis
• Manage policy expirations and renewals, conduct client research and prepare submissions
• Negotiate coverages and present proposals; monitor delinquent accounts and collect balances
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms; ensure data accuracy
