Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking an Account Manager - Commercial Lines to manage an assigned book, retain clients, and support new business. You will coordinate daily admin, service requests, policy administration, billing, and renewals, ensuring accuracy and timely responses.

The role requires 3–5 years in account management (insurance preferred), active P&C license, strong analytical and communication skills, and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of account management experience or 5+ years in the insurance industry.
• Active property & casualty licensing required; CIC or equivalent preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain technical competence and industry expertise.
• Direct daily activities of the account management team.
• Handle customer service requests, policy administration, billing, claims, and coverage analysis.
• Manage policy expirations and renewals.
• Prepare submissions, negotiate coverages, and present proposals.
• Monitor accounts receivable and collect outstanding balances.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms.
