Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking an Account Manager for Commercial Lines in a hybrid or fully remote capacity. The role focuses on managing a book of business, client service, renewals, and proposals across Construction, Contractors, and Habitational lines.

The ideal candidate holds an active P&C license, with 3–5 years in account management or 5+ years in insurance. Proficiency in MS Office and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of account management experience or 5+ years in the insurance industry.
• Active property & casualty (P&C) licensing is required; CIC or equivalent designation preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned book of business, ensuring account retention and supporting new business.
• Coordinate day-to-day administrative and customer service activities.
• Resolve complex issues and ensure no errors or omissions.
• Maintain policy expirations and renewals, and handle billing and coverage analyses.
• Conduct client research, prepare submissions, negotiate coverages, and present proposals.
