Job summary

GRF, a Focus Partners Business Management firm, seeks an Account Manager in California to act as the primary client contact and oversee day‑to‑day finances for assigned clients. You will supervise a team of bookkeepers, ensure timely responses, and coordinate with internal resources on contracts and financial schedules.

You will manage cash flow, review financial statements, and handle 1099s and annual filings.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; 3+ years in a similar role.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance highly preferred.
• 4+ years in business management and/or touring; 3+ years in a client services field.

Responsibilities

• Respond to client inquiries and requests in a timely manner.
• Coordinate workflow of bookkeeping team.
• Review and approve AP/AR, cash receipts, journal entries, and GL.
• Monitor bank balances and cash transfers; manage cash flow.
• Review insurance renewals and claims.
• Oversee new client setups and large purchases; assist with contracts.
