Job summary

Growscape in the United States is seeking an Account Manager to execute sales plans for assigned accounts, deliver reliable service, and maintain strong client relationships to support retention and revenue growth.

You will identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities, collaborate with product development, and use CRM data to plan accounts, report on performance, and keep cross-functional teams aligned with client needs.

Qualifications

Job PurposeThe purpose of the Account Manager role is to executes sales plans for assigned accounts by delivering reliable service, maintaining strong client relationships, and supporting retention and incremental revenue growth through effective account execution.Key ResponsibilitiesSales and Business Development: Execute sales plan to grow assigned accounts by capturing orders and cross-selling from a curated assortment. Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities and work closely with product development to provide tailored solutions to address the customer’s needs.Relationship Management: Responsible for gaining an understanding of the customer’s business, their goals, and their challenges. Build rapport and trust with the customer by acting as a reliable point of contact, and a partner, who will address their concerns and provide appropriate solutions.Customer Satisfaction: Focus on ensuring customer satisfaction and retention. Proactively monitor and assess client satisfaction levels and develop good cross-functional relationships with supply chain, customer service and manufacturing team to support customer satisfaction.Account Planning and Strategy: Develop account plans and strategies to maximize the value of each customer relationship. Leverage CRM system to analyze each account's current performance, set goals, and create action plans to address client needs and challenges. Collaborate with internal teams, such as marketing and product development, to align strategies and deliver value to the client.Communication and Collaboration: Maintain regular communication with customers through meetings, calls, emails, site visits and other channels. Provide customers with frequent updates on new products, services, or promotions, and share relevant information that adds value to the client's business. Internship and entry-level experience may also be considered. This role requires strong communication and relationship-building skills, basic sales and commercial knowledge, experience using CRM or account management tools, and the ability to manage day-to-day account activity reliably. Candidates should be comfortable identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities, resolving standard customer issues, and traveling approximately 10–25% as needed.
