Job summary

• Valid driver's license and ability to access commercial roofs.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities and maintain relationships with commercial customers.
• Identify and pursue roofing repair, maintenance, re-roofing and new construction opportunities.
• Conduct customer meetings and roof inspections to identify project needs.
• Develop accurate proposals with Estimating and Operations and present to customers.
• Follow up on proposals and opportunities to secure new business.
• Maintain customer, opportunity and project data in the database.
• Communicate project scope and commitments to Operations upon award.
• Serve as the primary customer contact during the sales process and project.
• Build long-term relationships with customers, property managers and owners.
• Attend sales, production and site meetings as needed.
• Meet sales and business development goals (KPIs).

JOB SUMMARY:

The Commercial Roofing Account Relationship Manager is responsible for developing new business opportunities, maintaining strong customer relationships, and growing sales of commercial roofing and related services. This position works closely with customers, estimators, and operations to identify roofing needs, develop solutions, prepare proposals, and guide projects from initial opportunity through completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities and maintain strong relationships with existing commercial customers.
• Identify and pursue commercial roofing repair, maintenance, re-roofing, and new construction opportunities.
• Conduct customer meetings and commercial roof inspections to identify project needs.
• Work with Estimating and Operations when needed to develop accurate proposals and project recommendations to customers.
• Follow up on proposals and opportunities to help secure new business.
• Maintain accurate customer, opportunity, and project information in the company database.
• Communicate project scope, customer expectations, and commitments to Operations upon award.
• Serve as the primary customer contact throughout the sales process and assist with customer communication during the project.
• Develop long‑term relationships with customers, property managers, building owners, and other industry contacts.
• Participate in sales, production, and job site meetings as needed.
• Meet established sales and business development goals (KPI's).

Minimum Qualifications

• Experience in commercial roofing, construction sales, account management, or a related field preferred.
• Knowledge of commercial roofing systems, including single-ply, metal roofing, metal wall panels, shingles, soffit, and gutters is preferred.
• Strong sales, communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
• Ability to identify customer needs and develop appropriate solutions.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple customers and opportunities.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently while collaborating with a team.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Construction Management, Business, or related education preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to climb ladders/stairs and access commercial roofs.
