Job summary

Vestis is seeking an Account Manager in Rockford, IL to grow revenue within the existing customer base by adding categories such as Uniforms, Workplace Supplies, Managed Restroom Services, First Aid, and Direct Sales.

The role reports to the Sales Manager and focuses on penetrating the current customer base, securing renewals, and fostering strong customer relationships to identify new opportunities and drive proposals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Prior Route Sales or B2B sales experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Penetrate the current customer base and generate revenue through additional category adds - Uniforms, Workplace Supplies, Managed Restroom Services, First Aid and Direct Sales.
• Secure contract renewals.
• Document customer information and maintain sales reports.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to drive sales and identify new opportunities.
• Drive a systematic sampling program that leads to proposal generation.
• Collaborate with Sales and Operations to sell into the current customer base.
