Job summary

Canon USA is seeking an Account Executive, Workplace Technologies & Services (WTS) to promote Canon hardware and software solutions to key companies within an established territory and account list. The role requires living within commuting distance to Chicago, IL, with a hybrid work arrangement to serve customers in-person or remotely.

The position emphasizes building relationships, prospecting new business, and presenting compelling technology-based solutions.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree is required and 0-2 years of related experience.
• At least 1 year of B2B, outside sales experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build solid working relationships with different businesses.
• Interest in learning new technology in a changing industry.
• Ability to work autonomously with excellent time management.
• Must be able to travel within the local market with a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and establish impactful relationships with new and existing customers.
• Prospect for new business opportunities and gain market share in an assigned territory.
• Assist with upgrading technology, solutions, and services for existing customers.
• Implement sales strategies to meet customer needs.
• Perform customer analyses and site surveys to identify requirements.
• Prepare proposals, presentations, and conduct product demonstrations.
