Summary

Job Description:

The Account Executive – RFS will have responsibility for existing account management activities and new account sales. The AE will identify and develop new customer business for Ryder Fuel Services (RFS) in collaboration with RFS management. The AE will facilitate research and prospecting of new customers, develop an industry network, and educate/develop prospects' perception of RFS services. The AE will support existing customer service and marketing efforts, understanding competitive influences and risks.

Essential Functions:

  • Sales Activity – Represent RFS services, collaborate with management, accounting, and operations to facilitate contracts, close deals, and support growth. Interface with Ryder Sales Teams to identify synergies for expanding current services.
  • Customer Experience – Work with RFS team to increase sales opportunities, create supportive relationships with stakeholders, leverage resources to expand opportunities, support existing relationships, report and provide feedback, and ensure onboarding and orientation for new accounts.
  • Business Development – Identify prospects, understand their needs, develop proposals, create sales plans to meet revenue targets, respond to inquiries, and align messaging with RFS operations.
  • Administrative Support – Maintain account profiles, facilitate marketing efforts, familiarize RFS team with sales activities, and support account development functions.
  • Continuous Improvement – Evaluate sales skills, enhance industry knowledge, and identify growth needs.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Understand RFS solutions for customer needs.
  • Adhere to company policies, including Travel and Expense.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
